Countdown to King Cake

When: January 5th 2026, 7:30pm-till
Where: Southport Hall (200 Monticello Ave, New Orleans LA 70121)
Why: Ring in the start of the Carnival season with your favorite dance teams, great music, friends, drinks, and tons more! Oh yeah, and of course – a king cake toast at midnight!
Cost: $10 admission

There'll be 16 Carnival dance teams performing, Glen David Andrews performing, and at midnight we will do a king cake toast right when it becomes "legal" to eat king cake without bad luck etc.  The dance teams will be performing for judges that will crown one dance team the Champions.  They will receive a championship belt and the entire door take for the charity of their choice.
