The Artivist Awards is Trinity City Arts' (TCArts) signature celebration of local changemakers. A vibrant night of art, justice, and joy, honoring local changemakers who use their talents to preserve culture, challenge systems, and uplift community voices.

This year’s honorees include Cierra Chenier (NOIR ‘N NOLA), Monique Verdin (United Houma Nation), and Mama Jen (Community Book Center). These bold visionaries work daily to make New Orleans a more vibrant, equitable, and culturally competent place—now and for generations to come.

Guests will enjoy an unforgettable evening of food, music by Dusky Waters, an online auction, and an awards ceremony honoring this year’s powerful trio of artivists.

Funds raised from the Artivist Awards support the completion of Trinity City, TCArts' Afro-Futurist, coming-of-age graphic story set in a reimagined “New New Orleans,” circa 2078.

TCArts is a collective of multi-hyphenate artivists and culture bearers committed to shaping New Orleans’ next generation of changemakers. Through powerful partnerships with community allies, they support youth ages 13–21 in developing their creative voice, leadership skills, and cultural legacy.
