Journey from the passionate calls for liberty in revolutionary France to the defiant drumming and chants of the Haitian Revolution, where enslaved people rose up in a fight for freedom. Follow the echoes of that struggle to Louisiana’s 1811 uprising, where rebels marched with drums beating and voices raised, inspired by Haiti’s triumph.
