Upcoming Shows

Get ready to experience the sound of revolution like never before. Our upcoming immersive exhibit, "Revolution Across the Atlantic," brings history to life through powerful music and original sound documents that trace the role of rhythm, song, and spoken word in resistance movements. Journey from the passionate calls for liberty in revolutionary France to the defiant drumming and chants of the Haitian Revolution, where enslaved people rose up in a fight for freedom. Follow the echoes of that struggle to Louisiana’s 1811 uprising, where rebels marched with drums beating and voices raised, inspired by Haiti’s triumph. Through audio, visuals, and interactive elements, this exhibit reveals how music carried the fire of revolution across continents — and how those sounds still resonate today.

Limited seating is available. Tickets are $5 for BK House Members; $10 for non-members and can be purchased at www.bkhouse.org.
