Kr3wcial

Kr3wcial is a Hip Hop artist, producer, and engineer from Algiers, Louisiana, a part of metro New Orleans. His lyrics explore themes of resilience, identity, and social consciousness, and speak of both the city’s gritty streets and the transcendent spirit of its people. Kr3wcial’s tracks, often enlivened with the pulse of brass and the rhythm of New Orleans, serve as a compelling commentary on the city’s multifaceted nature.

Kr3wcial released his first track in 2012 and hasn’t looked back. He has performed across the city and toured North America with his collective, GLBL WRMNG, has opened for Pell on a string of tour dates, and performed at Pelicans games and at festivals such as the BUKU Music + Art Project and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.

In 2021, he wrote GLBL WRMNG’s breakout single, “504,” and supported Grammy-nominated Tank and the Bangas in a sold-out New Orleans show. In 2023 he received a prestigious Studio in the Woods residency, and has engaged in partnerships with the New Orleans Museum of Art and other institutions. He has been nominated for a slew of local awards., and is also a community advocate, using his platform to inspire positive change. Check out his soulful style on the EP Less Than Three or the 2025 collaboration with GLBL WRMNG on their latest single, "Somebody."
