Ryan "Shaggadelic" Batiste is one of New Orleans' most versatile and dynamic artists, blending hip-hop, R&B, and electronic elements into his signature contemporary sound. 

Growing up in New Orleans' legendary Batiste musical family, Ryan developed his craft, transitioning from drums to piano, eventually carving his own path as a producer and hip-hop artist. His journey includes two studio albums, with his 2020 release "Twilight" showcasing his distinctive keyboard-based production and versatile vocal approach, featuring both auto-tuned performances and collaborations with R&B vocalists. 

Beyond his solo work, Ryan performs annually at Jazz Fest with "Batiste Father and Sons" and leads his band Raw Revolution. His entrepreneurial ventures include founding L.O.C.A.L.S' Fest at Armstrong Park in 2019, while also developing his own merchandise line. 

His recent focus combines his producer's ear with his performer's heart, creating music that tells authentic stories of contemporary New Orleans life while building community through his festival production and business ventures.
