Kermit's Tremé Mother-in-Law Lounge
Originally opened by Ernie K-Doe in 1994, the Mother-in-Law Lounge is a live music venue, pub, and shrine to New Orleans Music. After being closed for several years, Kermit Ruffins reopened the lounge as Kermit's Treme Mother-in-Law Lounge in 2014.

On Friday, March 13, we'll be ending the Spring Membership Drive in style! OZ is broadcasting live from Kermit's Mother In Law Lounge in the Tremé, and you're invited to join us. We'll bring the live music, WWOZ DJs and throw a party. You'll be able to come by and get your membership in person, or just hang out and enjoy the company.
We'll be at the club, at 1500 North Claiborne from 11am to 7pm. Check back closer to March 13th for a full list of performers and a schedule of the mayhem we're planning for our listeners!
