10am-4pm | 5th Annual Mud Fest! 

Mud Fest is the museum’s signature environmental festival, bringing together live music, hands-on activities and plenty of mud play to help kids connect with Louisiana’s wetlands and water systems in a fun, engaging way. 

This year’s event will feature a giant dirt pile and muddy obstacle course (Mudder Run), an interactive STEM activities with community partners like STEM NOLA, live performances from Sunpie Barnes and Grayhawk Perkins, plus splashy, high-energy moments perfect for photos and video.
