Experience the spirit of Mardi Gras in the back streets with these events happening Mardi Gras morning!

Northside Skull & Bone Gang will start at 5am Mardi Gras morning at 2500 Bayou Road at The Church of "I Am That I Am," also known as the King and Queen Emporium International.

Mystic Seven Sisters step out at the corner of Barracks & Treme St. at 5am for the 9th annual Carnival morning Blessing Ceremony. Led by Voodoo Queen Kalindah Laveaux, the Mystic Seven Sisters will cleanse and bless the historic Tremé neighborhood and the people starting at 5am. They will set the energy for healing, protection, and abundance with cleansing, drumming and Creole songs.
