Tune in to the New Orleans Music Show on Thursday, December 18, 11am-2pm CT, for our annual All-Star New Orleans Piano Tribute to Professor Longhair and James Booker, both of whom were born in December! Booker entered the Earthly realm on December 17, 1939 and Fess on December 19, 1918.

Eight of New Orleans' finest contemporary pianists will join host Michael Dominici for a three-hour celebration of Fess, Booker, and the New Orleans piano tradition. Tom McDermott, BC Coogan, Joe Krown, Tom Hook, Josh Paxton, Keiko Komaki, Tom Worrell, and Joe Ashlar are scheduled to perform live in the studio.
