Krampus NOLAuf Returns to New Orleans as America’s Largest Krampus Parade
A celebration of creativity, community, sustainability, and accessibility parades through the Bywater on:
Saturday, December 6
The Krewe of Krampus brings holiday folklore to life with Krampus NOLAuf, a one-of-a-kind walking parade celebrating its most ambitious year yet. Taking place in New Orleans’ Bywater neighborhood, the event fuses Alpine mythology with the city’s unmatched flair for parading, artistry, and community impact.
Parade Highlights:
• Over 200 marchers in custom, character-driven costumes inspired by Alpine folklore
• Eco-conscious throws made from recycled glass, bamboo, and salvaged materials
• A massive Toys for Tots Toy Float collecting donations for local families
• A fully designated Accessibility Row—the only parade-accessible viewing zone of its kind in New Orleans
• A community-wide Edelweiss theme symbolizing resilience, hope, and unity
Krampus NOLAuf 2025 steps off at 7:30 PM on Saturday, December 6, winding through the Bywater neighborhood of
New Orleans. Spectators are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to help fill the Krewe’s official Toys for Tots Toy Float.
