Award Winning Chef Jordan Herndon of Palm & Pine Restaurant will be serving a mouth-watering buffet style brunch in this lush garden setting.  The food will feature vibrant takes on Southern Brunch favorites and will incorporate a variety of freshly harvested, seasonal ingredients from the garden. 

Live music by Mazaj, performing modern and classical Arabic music through a contemporary lens.  Mazaj features Simon Moushabeck (Arabic accordion), Martin Masakowski (double bass), and Marco Saah (percussion).  The band weaves together captivating melodies, exciting improvisations, and tasty grooves for an experience that is friendly to dancers and listeners alike.  

Locally roasted coffee, teas and Garden Gift Market from Pelican Gardens.  Food and drinks served from 10:30am-1pm, Live music from 11am-1pm.

Proceeds benefit Pelican Gardens in our hopes to build a new Gathering and Learning Shelter at the garden in 2026.  We are a non-profit community garden space located in the Old Algiers neighborhood of New Orleans.  We're located 1 mile from the Algiers Ferry Landing which runs every 30 minutes and allows bikes.
