Downtown Covington (OUTDOORS)
The Office of Cultural Arts and Events presents an array of unique and exciting entertainment options in Covington for residents and visitors alike. From block parties and farmers markets to art openings, festivals and live musical concerts, numerous free public events improve quality of life and promote the City’s downtown historic district as a vibrant cultural destination. Many events take place along the streets of the beautiful downtown historic district. Others are staged at popular local venues such as the Covington Trailhead, a cultural resource center that houses a museum and outdoor amphitheater, and serves as a way station for the 26-mile Tammany Trace recreational trail.

The OZONE Songwriter Festival & Artist Showcase is the premier, annual event for the OZONE Music Foundation—a weekend of music- October 31 – November 2 – that champions the talented singer-songwriters who create it. Held in the heart of downtown Covington, LA on the Northshore, this dynamic festival brings together over 100 musicians from more than 14 states, lighting up the main stage at the Covington Trailhead and other stages and partners, Columbia Street Tap Room, Cured on Columbia, Encore Bar & Grill and the DJ Killahouse Stage, The Southern Hotel, and The Green Room Music Club. Performances will also take place at Oliver & Cecile , Black Flower Apparel Records.
