Originally opened by Ernie K-Doe in 1994, the Mother-in-Law Lounge is a live music venue, pub, and shrine to New Orleans Music. After being closed for several years, Kermit Ruffins reopened the lounge as Kermit's Treme Mother-in-Law Lounge in 2014.
