Go along with Glen David Andrews and his band on a guided tour of the Armstrong House Museum, in Queens, NY, where Satchmo and his wife Lucille lived from 1943 until the end of their lives. According to the Museum's web site, "No one has lived in the house since the Armstrongs, and the house and its furnishings remain very much as they were during Louis and Lucille’s lifetime."
Afterward, Andrews was clearly moved, saying "I literally felt the presence of him the entire time I was in there" and thanking film maker James Demaria.
We'll have a bunch of Louis Armstrong videos later this month, ahead of Satchmo SummerFest.
