Gina Leslie was born and raised in a Colorado-based musical family, and developed her own guitar, banjo, and vocal chops amidst an early life at bluegrass festivals and fiddle camps. Now based in New Orleans, the singer-songwriter gigs locally and across the country, and made a splash with her 2022 debut solo album No, You’re Crying. The record, a testimony to heartbreak and lost love, features Leslie’s strong songwriting, and evocative vocal phrasings on tunes like “Little Company” and “I See You Everywhere I Go.” In addition to her solo work, Leslieie is also a busy side musician, recording and performing in New Orleans and beyond with acts such as The Sam Doores Band, Esther Rose, Ric Robertson, and her family band, The Bad Bad Leslies.
