DJ Bigg Cheeez has been rocking parties and clubs across the South since the early 1990s as both a musician and a turntable artist extraordinaire. The New Orleans native hails from the Shrewsbury neighborhood and is a member of the creative conglomeration known as the Psycho Ward DJs. The veteran performer has worked with N.O.4, Mia X (producing her first hit "The Payback" in 1992) and other artists, and has performed across the country. He’s also opened for major touring acts, including Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Wyclef Jean, Big Pun(RIP), Lyfe Jennings, and Goodie Mob, among others.

He was the 2000 and 2004 Kool Mixx DJ champion, and blends genres by performing with more straight-ahead jazz artists, including Donald Harrison and various Marsalis brothers.
