C'estFunk is a self-described “student of the groove-based music of the 70’s and 80’s,” but the popular DJ goes so much farther, drawing music from around the globe to spin his unique, energetic dance sets. C’estFunk was born and raised in Brazil and is now based in New Orleans; he brings international funk and disco stylings  - from Nigeria to Japan - to his monthly Batucada Groove dance party.
